The Annual Fund is the School’s fundraising priority and our fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. Each year, the entire A-S community is asked to support the Annual Fund, which contributes approximately 10% of the operating budget.

The Annual Fund supports every aspect of an A-S education and is 100% tax-deductible. While we encourage our donors to consider making their gift unrestricted, which provides the most flexibility to address the ever-changing needs of the School, we also recognize that many donors want more agency over their giving. You can now earmark your Annual Fund gift for the following areas of need:

  • Unrestricted (includes academic programming)
  • Arts Programs
  • Athletics
  • Financial Aid
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives

Parent Participation Matters!

While dollars are important, participation is just as meaningful. Each year, we strive for 100% parent participation in the Annual Fund, with many of our grades regularly hitting this goal. A gift to the annual fund, of any amount, is a vote of confidence in your son’s education and a sign of the strength of our community. Your support at any level is exceptionally meaningful to us. We hope you will consider joining your fellow parents in making a gift to your son’s school.

"The annual fund supplies the necessary resources for our boys while empowering the faculty and staff to explore and execute innovative ideas. I give to narrow the divide between tuition and the actual cost, ensuring our boys enjoy the distinctive and enriching experience offered by Allen-Stevenson"

Chris Joseph P32

"My wife and I give because we believe achieving 100% parent participation is a vote of confidence in our school and in each other. We give generously because even though there are a number of worthy causes in New York, we believe that our son’s school should be our first and highest philanthropic priority. We are exceptionally proud to be part of a parent community that supports each other and each other’s sons."
