Mission and Program
The Allen-Stevenson Robotics and STEAM Summer Program was developed for children ages 6-12 to enhance learning through collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, persistence, and having fun! Camp activities are designed around a comprehensive program including Robotics, Technology, Science/Engineering, Physical Education, and S.T.E.A.M.
All campers will be grouped by age/grade into one of three divisions (1st - 2nd, 3rd – 4th, and 5th - 6th graders.) Each division has its own distinct, age-appropriate program. As the campers develop and grow, so does our program; campers will experience new, more complex challenges and investigations at each level.
A daily elective session for campers provides each child with the chance to customize their own program based on interest, thus enabling them to dig deeper into their own learning.
